MOUNTAIN BIKE CAMP at HOLIDAY HILL
Our next Mountain Bike Camp offering will be held during the weekd of our session 4. Session 4A is August 9-13; Session 4B is August 16-20. Use the registration form below to register for either week (Session 4A or 4B) or both (Session 4). Write in "Mountain Bike" near your session choice, or call the camp to register by phone.
We are excited to offer our first-ever mountain bike specialty camp!
The initial two weeks have been a lot of fun! We will continue to offer the program if there is sufficient interest.
Mountain Bike Camp is designed as a camp-within-a-camp for riders entering grades 6-9 in the fall. Exceptions may be made for younger riders with experience.
Instruction and riding will take place on camp grounds and on established trails in adjacent government reservation land associated with the Mansfield Hollow State Park.The focus will be on safe riding techniques, preventive bike maintenance and minor repairs. Campers will also receive instruction on nutrition, fitness and positive visualization. Campers must provide their own bicycles.
Much of the day will be spent as a group with the bikes, but the program will also include other camp activities like free swim, camp meeting, big games, plus the possibility of visits to certain camp activity areas like sports, archery, canoeing, challenge, nature, arts & crafts and creative dramatics.
