KARATE CAMP at HOLIDAY HILL

Our next Karate Camp offering will be held during the weekd of our session 4. Session 4A is August 9-13; Session 4B is August 16-20. Use the registration form below to register for either week (Session 4A or 4B) or both (Session 4). Write in "Karate Camp" near your session choice, or call the camp to register by phone.

Villari's Martial Arts of North Windham and Mansfield's Holiday Hill Day Camp are teaming up to present their first ever combined martial arts focused day camp!

The first two weeks of the summer's Karate camp were lots of fun. We can continue the program if there is sufficient interest. Call today for more information.

Campers of all ages and levels will explore the fascinating world of the martial arts with outstanding certified instructors from Villari's. The group will focus on five animal kung fu with a different animal covered each day. Instructors will teach interactive skills and conduct drills appropriate for beginners and experienced martial artists. The experience will incorporate character development, leadership, and personal safety skills.

After lunch, the Karate Campers will enjoy our all-camp meeting, free swim and a variety of summer camp activities. Activities may include sports and games, archery, canoeing, creative dramatics, nature, arts & crafts and challenge course activities. The group will have Holiday Hill camp counselors guiding them throughout their days at camp.

It's the best of both worlds--a full day camp experience with a strong martial arts component, and transportation is included from most area towns!

Holiday Hill and Villari's of North Windham have enjoyed many years of friendship! Holiday Hill has hosted a number of Villari's summer picnics. Our directors' family has trained for years with Ken and Lisa Caputo, owners of Villari's Martial Arts of Noth Windham and Storrs. Wendy Hamlin (Co-Director) and Spencer (Orioles Group Leader) have attained the rank of second degree black belt, while Haley (Sparrows Counselor) and Hunter (Eagle Phase NESTer) are both first degree black belts.

Many of our camp counselors have also trained at Villari's. These connections make us excited about the combination of martial arts training and summer camp!
